Whether the economy is shrinking or booming, we need to nurture a realisation that we need very little to be happy. Every day, all around me, I see people with next to nothing. Some are happy and some are not. This being South Africa, the phenomenally rich are also not in short supply. Guess what? Some are happy and some are not. So, when the good times starts rolling again, remember that you don't need your credit card to be happy and you don't have to spend a cent.
